Working Through Lockdown
Sadly, I've had to cancel (hopefully temporarily) my exhibition in The Natural Room Emporium. It was due for May 2020 but of course, that isn't great timing with a pandemic raging around the globe. We will aim to reschedule after things are back to normal, subject to availability, timing, etc.
I am still working away though! I am taking part in # artistsupportpledge - an Instagram-based initiative where artists make affordable pieces of work (under £200) and whenever £1000 sales are reached, we pledge to use £200 of that to buy other artists' work from the pledge. It's a fabulous idea and I am participating by lowering the usual price of some pieces, selling things unframed, and making smaller scale pieces that can be posted. Check out my instagram feed for information.
I am also working on a small range of landscape colour charts. Similar to a paint sample chart, but
showcasing a bold collection of representative colours from a specific place, these are £20 with 50% of income being reserved to pay for keyworkers' places on my workshops when they hopefully get rescheduled later in the year.
